As far as coaches.... I don't think I would have M/NS's coach up for region's coach of the year. No question he has done a pretty good job with all the rigmarole that goes into new co-ops. I think they have a lot of talent, so a good record isn't a surprise. If I were going to narrow my guess down to 2 teams, I would have to go with W/L and Richland. Both teams are playing not only well, but better than most people, who aren't homers, thought that they would.
Richland coach has my vote right now...they seem to have turned a corner after their loss to Oak Grove.

Whose opponents record is that?

I think the SOS rankings have some validity. Central Cass (5-11 of this date) has only played one team this year with a losing record, and played most other teams competitively. They have 4 games left in their regular season schedule, three of them with losing records to date.
The Schwab wrote:There are 3 teams in the state currently 5-11 (Central Cass, Underwood and Enderlin) so yes Central Cass is probably the best 5-11 team in the state.

Oak Grove @ Northern Cass= OG i dont think NC is the team everyone thinks they are.
Milnor-North Sargent @ Hankinson= Milnor/NS jake hanson has a big game today
Central Cass @ Sargent Central= CC because SC is not ready yet, couple years they will be better
Kindred @ Enderlin= Kindred to good of defense for Enderlin
Richland @ Maple Valley= Richland, they are on hot streak
Tri-State @ Lisbon= This one im interested in, i think Tri-State might have figured things out after beating MV
The Schwab wrote:That makes more sense. I know CC has played a very tough schedule

They try and jam it inside at the cost of turning it over. This team is one of the disappointments in region 1 right now.
