Since we are on region 1, proof positive of the balance throughout region 1. Enderlin, the number 12 team in region 1, went on the road to Wyndmere - Lidgerwood and lost by a single point. Wyndmere - lidgerwood went on the road a couple days later and lost by a single point to Northern Cass, the number 1 and undefeated team in region 1 and the number 3 ranked team in ND. That not only shows the balance of region 1 but the strength of region 1 as well.

A few Post back I stated Carrington is over Rated...proof this week...squeaking by LLM...and then loosing to a team who is only receiving votes... records mean nothing...unless your from a tough Region...and have a tough schedule... teams from a tough Region and that have a tough schedule deserve more than RV ..Region 1 is that kind of Region...they could easily have 4 teams in the top 10... sad to think only 1 gets to go to state

IMO...Northern Cass should be the #2 team in the state..if not a close tie for #1 ....they have 1 loss( my guess it was the wakeup they needed) ...beat the only team who beat FWM...Beat the #4 team in the state... and come from the Toughest Region in the State...

It is odd that one of the Class A regions isn't on top, you are right.

What do you mean? If you are saying that a Class B Region that doesn't have a class a school in it, well that is dumb and not correct. Four Winds is a region 4 team, ranked #1, that has Devils Lake (a Class A team). As a matter of fact I believe all 8 regions have a class A teams in them. Maybe that is not what you meant either. What were you trying to say?

I think St.John is under-rated IMO .........are they the last undefeated team Class B?

St. John v. North Star in Cando on Feb. 7 could be an intriguing match-up.

It's hard to tell how good St. John is, as they have only played 3 teams with winning records this season. North Star will be a better indicator.

#1 Four Winds-Minnewaukan def. Rugby 83-32
RV Richland def. #2 Northern Cass 57-43
#3 St. John def. #10 North Star 78-62..............

I've said now for about the last couple of Polls that St. John was one of the top teams in the State....

In actuality, they and Four Winds (Both in region 4) would be the 2 best as we speak....IMO

I don't doubt that St. John has a good team. They'd get a lot more love if they played a tougher schedule and were still undefeated.

I think he meant if their schedule was stronger and still undefeated, instead of undefeated with what could be called an easier schedule.

I see, well lets say they (and I'm not from St.John) had played, Who? that they haven't played because no one can surly take away from being the last of the undefeated.... it would be like saying Gonzaga has had an easier schedule than some (which I'm sure some are saying)......anyways lets say they have played Norther Cass or Hillsboro central Valley and a few others, and lets say they spit with those 2 (although IMO capable of beating them both) and they had one loss? well, they would still be well deserving of #2 in the latest poll....point being I just think it took them longer to be recognized this year....but they are senior loaded and Kyler is extremely solid and takes the game very seriously....Region 4 was always FW's and NS but the tide has shifted to St.John and FW's this season....IMO... :)

There not a lot of love between 4winds and St. John. Could make for an interesting regional tourney.

How is Northern Cass 8? They lost to Richland at Richland then lost to Oak Grove at home back to back. This dosent make any sence.

Very rarely do teams ranked high fall completely out the next week...15-3 and still a good team that lost to quality teams! D. Trinity lost by 30 to FW-M when they were #2 and they didn't fall out.
