Snow Days

With so many schools missing school and practice time and being short the 9 mandatory practices we will have quite a different looking schedule. The NDHSAA has said that they won't budge off of the 9 practice minimum. This causes a lot of stress for schools trying to reschedule games and shootouts. Funny how South Dakota can waive the minimum practice requirement without a second thought...

Does anyone else feel like the individuals making the decisions from the NDHSAA are out of touch with the real world. I mean seriously, you can't start practice to early because you might have too many practices. You only have so many days to get the minimum number of practices. If you score to many points against an opponent, we have to make the score look not so bad by having the 30 pt. mercy rule. At what point do we stop making rules and just play the game?

Agree 100 %, you forgot a big one. The district chairs want a 3 class system, but lets not implement it.

Until we start getting more people from small schools on the NDHSAA board, nothing will change. They have been out of touch with a large number of their member schools for some time now.
