While Central Cass has not played a particularly tough schedule so far and are now 5-0, it's important to note that they have yet to play a home game this season.

Our Redeemer's has also not played a single home game this season. I think they only have four home games scheduled for the entire season. The rest are all either away or neutral sites.

Maybe I am way off and I am not looking to start a new topic. But, I don't think home court advantage means anything, except in very rare circumstances. I can only think of a couple, and games are not played in either gym anymore. I'll share one, Hillsboro. Years ago when they still played at the high school and were on a tile floor. It was a big deal not only because Hillsboro was very good, but because tile, (only tile in the region) was rare and teams came into the game ready to use the floor as an excuse for poor play. IMO Central Cass plays in a very sterile environment. Their only advantage occurs when they have a better team. I'm most familiar with regions 1 and 2. I don't think region 1 has a team with a true home court advantage. Oak Grove has crazy soft rims but both teams play with them. Maple Valley has refs from Valley City but both teams have to play with them . In region 2, FSHP doesn't have an advantage with they play in Finley, but games (if played) in Hope and Page are in very small gyms which are a bit unique in the region. Griggs County's gym now has lights so you can see, but they still get Valley City officials.
I guess what I'm getting at is I don't think a home court is even worth a point. All the schools are playing at least in region 1 and 2 on wood floors (no more tile and tartan floors), with rectangular backboards supporting 10' rims. In my experience when a team is playing in a place where there is a good loud environment, it helps both teams.
