Is the score now 50 to 46? Thats what Rugby radio reported as an update?

48 to 43 Rugby...Lee picked up his 4th foul, you know it was a bad call when the rugby announcer said its a bad call 2 minutes left

Final in 3:

LaMoure 45
Oakes 43

Region 3 final: Lamoure-L-M 45 Oakes 43. Oakes hit a 3 at the buzzer to cut it to 2 but LLM lead the entire game. Oakes couldn't throw it in the ocean in the first quarter and struggled against LLM's 2-3 zone for most of the night.
Third place game: Linton-HMB over Strasburg-Zeeland.

So if I got this right its Parshall, Rugby, New England, Shiloh Christian, 4 Winds, MayPort, LaMoure LM and Oak Grove...correct me if I'm wrong.

Was an awesome game in Minot tonight. Came down to a potential game tying three by Lee with a second left. For being Rugbys region to lose, I thought the Bombers played them about as well as anyone tonight. Kudos to Rugby, they made they plays they needed to to win. Kind of a bummer tonight, there were a lot of good teams across the state that would have been good reps for the state tourney that didn't make it.

Region7: Trinity
Region 8: Parshall
Region 1 is really up in the air and could see central cass make a run at oak grove.region 2 is who wants its. Four winds has North Star to worry about but should manage. Would like to see max play Shiloh in region 5 title but give the edge to sky hawks either way. Region 6 is rugby a to lose but gotta go underdog.. Region 7 needs a rep other then trinity hopefully hettinger or New England can do the job.

Some great region championships in region2,3,4 and 6. Cheering for New England think Oak grove and rugby have best chance at title with 4winds being the dark horse.

My question would be, Would both win if either is picked as SAoY??? or would/could they pick one or the other??

I guess I don't really understand the question. They got co-senior athlete of the year. Both kids very deserving of the award. It's been a privilege to watch both of them play.

Yes, I'm not questioning who deserves this...but is it a bit of easy out naming both when both are truly deserving? Is there precedent here or will this set one...what about superegions?

I know its confusing...I'm trying to ask when it comes to the final 8(or 9) is it specific to the player, or the region. Stewart wins the award for girls representing region 6. So if it went to the R6 representative for boys, it would have to still be shared since both represent R6??? Or its it a purely individual award...ex. Lee wins award representing R6,,,

Does this make any sense what I'm asking?? To me if one or the other did win the final, it would have to continue as a co-award, as that was what was intended by R6 voters...

Coaches are asked to vote for individuals, not regions.

Yes, regardless of which player's team won the Region Championship or even the State title, Heidelbaugh (Rugby) and Lee (Berthold) will remain co Senior Athletes of the Year for Region 6.
