What do you make of the fact that Rugby had the poorest 3pt FG % - 21.5% - yet shot the most 3's - 65?

Does anyone know how many blocks Alex Weston from NS had?

They should feel very fortunate of where they ended up. Could have easily been playing for 7th with those stats. I think they had the fewest turnovers so that helped.

They were settling a lot in the first two games when NT & NS played zone and they just weren't falling.

Like Run said they faced a lot of zone. I'd also say its just because half their scorers are purely shooters and they happened to just not shoot that well. They kept shooting because that's what got them there, and I think that's what they needed to do. Just didn't get them to fall.

Even against a zone, if you have good ball movement you should still be attacking the basket with the drive or hitting cutters inside for some better shots. With shooting the least amount of FT of any team, they weren't attacking as much as they could have, especially if the outside shots aren't falling.

They settled A LOT for the outside shot...especially when OT came and they got down in the Title. First two or three didn't go and OG started to score. When a team of HS kids panic...they tend to start chucking the least likely shot to go down.
