Random questions/posts thread

Postby Flip » Mon Mar 05, 2012 12:03 am

Instead of making a new thread anytime someone has a random question maybe we could post it here to keep this forum a little less clustered.

I'll start.
Do they know the venue of next years state B tournament?
Do they know when it will take place?

Is there any chance they'll switch seasons with the girls?
I've read a few posters say the tournament will have to be in Fargo or GF until Minot gets their hotel situation fixed because of the oil boom. So, is it pretty much expected to be a huge disaster next year?

The tournament dates should be switched back. The Class "B" boys is the crown jewel and should be the last tournament played. The remaining tournaments seem like an after thought.....

Correction to the State B program, page 22. NS's record was 24-0, not 27-0. A little presumptive, do you suppose?

I figured it seemed more like a jinx to the Bearcats...I saw it on Wednesday night when they put the brackets on the online site for the Tourney

Minots working hard on the hotel problem, should be 3 more opening this summer with hopefully construction on more new ones starting along with 2 new resturants. I know some new big apartment complexes opened last year also. Trouble is with the new hotels the oil companys just buy some of the rooms right away so it makes it tough. They made it work last year know it wasn't perfect but should be better next year..

what was Schanilec's points/game last year...I know in the Hoopster they list 3 or 4 guys that have averaged 30+ points/game in the past 26 years (I think); but neither of those players were over 33+ points/game.

Had Langstaff Played for lets say Oakgrove, he would have made Sports Illustrated .......His #'s are crazy ...................just take a few minutes and research the amount of Ink on just this site, Phillip received last season... Compared to Melvin......In fact most Praise givin to Melvin had "but" (no pun) on the end of it.

Near as I can tell from surfing their state association web sites, SD is single elimination, districts with a 1-game regional to get to state. Montana appears to have second chances.

Ok, when you come on here "go maji" (obvious Minot Magicians fan) and bash class B stuff, you are starting to look very biased and foolish, JMHO.

Who isn't biased now-a-days. By the way, it's a known fact that most class "A" schools are defense orientated. While class "B" is more about scoring.
