Retiring after 40 years.
It is a little harder to motivate kids I guess because they’ve been pampered so much. We’re in the trophy generation, give ‘em a trophy for 23rd place, make ‘em feel good. Make mom and dad feel good.” Tom Izzo, Michigan State Basketball

Makes you wonder if the 3 class system was a part of his decision making. Lisbon is one of the schools that got the short end of the stick. Maybe the Valley City coach will want this job! :D

No I don’t believe so, think they will hire from within.

This surprised me but I guess it was known for a while. Great job, an endless pipeline of talent.

Brandt moving to Minot per his Twitter, wonder if anyone has already picked him up. Makes sense he's from the area and both his kids are up there.

Great coach! Whomever takes over this spot will inherit a winning culture and a loaded team for next season.

I heard that BCN was very lucky to have a coach as good as him the past 17 years.

DVE, Turtle Mountain and Beulah are also open. Beulah is one of the better jobs in the state and Turtle Mtn is also very intriguing IMO

South Border's Head Coach resigned (Cory Bader) after a number of kids from one of the towns in the co-op said they wouldn't play if he was coaching next year. (A couple of them quit during this past season, one of them right before Districts.)
