Well I guess Enderlin will have two losses on the year when they win state. That is all that means.

WOW.. LOL.. somebody is a wee bit sarcastic...but that would be Fantastic !!

Im going to give the Eagles the benefit of the doubt and say they have had a few bad nights of shooting...according to stats reports on MaxPreps.. Not taking anything away from the EKM team..from what I hear it was a good game, and EKM has a few boys that stand as tall as Enderlins twin towers(who are young)…
just a who beats who here( which never makes for a good scale to go by)..Enderlin beat Kidder Co by 20..EKM beat Kidder Co by 14 then Kidder Co turns and beats EKM by 16...EKM beats Eagles by 8... as far as Eagles loosing to Hatton(Region 2 is TOUGH)..????… I wasn't there...anyone can be beat on any given night..a poor night from the field, foul trouble a few to many turnovers makes a difference in anyones game... as far as Richland game vs Lamoure..probably the same scenario..but they won..just not by the spread everyone anticipated I am guessing
If Enderlin plays well, and Lamoure does the same... they will play for the BCT championship this wknd..should be a great matchup..but they each have to win 2 to get there..they match up a few weeks later
A win/lose record means nothing .. but playing tough against tough teams makes for a better team when it counts come Tourney Time

Yes a little.
I saw Kindred play as well and they have come together and playing well. They won't put up alot of points but they defend and rebound. They have 6'7 and 6'8 and Roland is strong. Good luck pushing him around. I was surprise as how well they ran as well. Outside shooting is a problem but they can hit some to make a difference. They play EKM this week.[/quota

Defending and rebounding makes up for not so good shooting..as of right now I say it is anyones game ..3 teams probably have the upper edge..Kindred,Richland,Enderlin..CC is showing some promise also..just going from scores and stats..they could be contenders...I see Kindred has EKM coming up...Should be a good game to watch

I think Region 1 is down on talent all around..Region 2 seems to be a bit stronger again .Region 3 has hung in there also in out of REgion Games... almost halfway through the season... things are gonna change once everyone starts playing within their own Region ... Always a fun season when there isnt a true dominate team

hoop, CC beat W-L by 3. Still may not be a good thing for CC, but it was a win.

Just my point of view ..and no I have not even come close to seeing every team play
..but yes
I would bet that Oak Grove team from 3-4 years ago would beat the team they have now
as would Casselton
as would Enderlin
as would Hankinson
as would Maple Valley
as would Northern Cass
as would Lisbon
as would Kindred
as would MNS

And probably a few others..
Not taking anything away from the young and up coming talent
but yes..all in all Region 1 is Down on Talent

Hard to lose a top player though...takes time to adjust when 15+ ppg is missing from your lineup

Not trying to come down on Enderlin. I was just excited to see them play because of what people had said on here about them getting really good and they had everything and to see them go down 3 times already makes me wonder if it was just a bunch of High School kids trolling us.

I picked them to be up near the top of the region; they've just been unlucky here lately with injuries and inconsistency. Season is still young though!

I was watching archived video of the Northern Cass vs Thompson game earlier this week. In that game the Jaguars had a post player foul out at the 3:30 mark of the 1st quarter. I've seen a player or two foul out in the first half before, but never that early in a game.

Both Teams can play really good defense. Richland has great shooting and players that can get their own shot. Kindred has great ball movement and make you play defense. I think the game will be in the low 50s to high 40's.... Either way Richland home so Richland by 4.
If they don't let Richland beat up and push on Keller all game then Kindred by 4.

Richland was impressive against Oak Grove last night, pretty much running the Grovers off their own court with the press in the 3rd quarter.

Kindred has more size but can the Vikings deal with the athleticism of Richland for four quarters? Should be a great game on Thursday and maybe a preview of the region title match up in March.

I think many expect Oak Grove to be there at the end of the year but I don't see it. Too many holes in the lineup this year to compete in the region.

Gym was full for the Richland Kindred. Kindred's offense was not at the game and Richland shot the really well.
I think Richland will take this region. They shoot to well and can play defense as well. Fun to watch a team move the ball around the court as well as they do.
