All those First Round games are going to be a battle! You get what you get out of Bismarck and Mandan, but teams like Williston and Jamestown, (maybe even Dickinson if they can put two half's together) are teams you don't want to over look. Belcourt and Century seem to be head-n-shoulders above the rest of the field, but you just never know come tournament time - where everybody is 0-0...

I don't really follow high school bball and this is probably the wrong forum, but why does Class B have a separate "season" per say for guys and girls that allow them to have their state's on different weekiends and televised Thurs-Sat, but Class A has their season together, which means the State tournaments on the same weekend, so no thursday televising and friday it's just whatever?

Red River girls lost to Fargo North tonight. North has beat the #1 team in state twice this year now.

Nice game for North girls last nite, Wow to hold RR to only 39 points. They now have the birth into the state tournament. I will also predict that south experience will give South team the win tonite by about 12 points. North has a very good team just not always consistant. Red River will come back today and be a tough draw for the West first round coming in as a 3 seed. Was suprised at Devils Lake losing to Waph. yesterday!

Wahp's first win vs. a ND team all year too. If North can carry over last nights performance they are very capable of beating South again. Red Riv had a stretch in the 2nd half of 0 points in about 11 minutes. Very impressive with the zone defenses.
