North Dakota Preps

If Davies beats WF and Wahp beats North on Thursday, there will be a 5 team tie for the top spot in the EDC.

Anyone want to take a crack at where the teams would fall with the tie breakers?

Shanley 16-4
GF Red River 16-4
Wahpeton 15-4
Fargo Davies 15-4
West Fargo 15-4

Wahpeton has North and West Fargo & Davies break their own tie.

Forum article (online now...will be in Thursday's paper)...they obviously fixed their original article as it first stated Wahpeton had tiebreaker...but that has since changed...Below is what it states:

"If there is a four-way tie, head-to-head records among the tied teams decides the seedings for the East Region tournament. If Davies beats West Fargo and Wahpeton beats North, then the four-way tie will be between Shanley, Red River, Wahpeton and Davies, all of which are 3-3 against each other. Tiebreaker would move to scoring differential, which goes to Davies.

If West Fargo beats Davies and Wahpeton beats North, Wahpeton would be 4-2 in the four-way tie, as would Fargo Shanley. Shanley would get the No. 1 seed on the scoring differential tiebreaker"
