The WDA tournament starts up next week. I was really surprised to see Bismarck finish at #7 and have to play a play-in game this week. Great job to Mandan for turning things around and finishing 2nd.

Any predictions on how each round will play out?

This could be the homer in me talking, but I think Minot could play Century in the championship. If they beat Belcourt (which I think they will), Minot will have to play Mandan or Bismarck. Minot beat Bismarck twice and lost to Mandan twice (but all very close). But yeah,
2-4 are a crap shoot. Should be fun though.

Other than Century, it really is a toss-up from #2-#7. I think Mandan is probably going to be in the championships with Belcourt and Jamestown going to State. Obviously, BHS, Legacy, and Minot are in the hunt but they are very inconsistent.

I'll disagree on belcourt. They only have one home loss this year to Century, but on the road, they were 5-6 with losses to Minot, Dickinson, and SM. Outside of Century its up for grabs.

Their win against Bismarck was somewhat impressive. They had a huge lead, and when everything seemed to go flat, they definitely showed that they had some leadership. Legacy played really well against Century, but they made a lot of mental errors that cost them the win. It could be tough for them to bounce back.

Minot should win over St. Mary's, but the Saints are playing well. They are having fun, and playing with a "nothing to lose attitude".
