I think you meant to post this in the A forum, so I moved it and renamed it to tie into the WDA part of the question as there has already been a topic started about EDC results.

Minot won by 18 over Belcourt, and Dickinson beat Beulah by one in the afternoon games.

Well then. It looks like Beulah's path just got a lot harder.

BHS beat Mandan in OT.  and Williston beat Century in the night cap.  Once again BHS faces Williston.  They've played each other in WDA every year for  I dont know how long.  I think they have the biggest rivalry in WDA.

Minot came back from a 7 point halftime deficit to beat Dickinson 68-62, so they are going to state.

They will face Bismarck in the WDA championship.  With both DL and South in the

"poop" or get off the pot category, this should make the pairings for state very interesting.

Minot beats Bismarck tonight, 72-66.  So, how do the State A pairing shape up?

The WDA championship was great!! BHS pretty much had it won with 8 seconds left up by 2 but Mike Hager threw it away under Wilhelm's legs.  Then Minot tied it and BHS had a clear shot to win it at the buzzer but missed from the corner.  Minot took control in O.T. with Sophomore Zach Elgie scoring their first 6 points and winning by 6.

So how do the State A pairings shape up?

W1 Minot vs E4 GF Central
W2 Bismarck vs E3 Fargo South
W3 Williston vs E2 West Fargo
W4 Century vs E1 Fargo North

looks like some pretty interesting matchups.  I think anybody can win it all now.

Thanks.  Minot/GFC will be in the same bracket with Williston/W. Fargo.

Williston is a hard one to figure out.  They've got alot of talent, but struggle to score points.

Very interesting to say the least.  But then again, that's what makes it fun, right?
