After dropping 27 against Wahpeton, Farkas has solidified himself as a first team all-EDC selection and should be on first or second team all-state.

No beginning of the season the guards would have been either mertens, may, or kramer

I'm not talking this year.  I'm talking about next year and he is definately Mr. Basketball material.  He is a great scorer, solid rebouder I believe he is averaging around 7 a game. Thats outstanding for a point guard and he dishes out around 5 assists.  Those stats will only improve next year as all but two varsity players return, and West Fargo's chemistry improves.

People need to start looking outside of just pure scoring for Mr. Basketball

BJ Mertens is the leading rebounder on his team leading scored in the EDC right now and he is Second on the assist category to farkas and he has a good field goal percentage but i dont know about this year but last year i know that he turned the ball over a few times.  But i believe he is still a better choice for the Mr. Basketball award for next year.
