Im from minot and it would be a crazy upset if minot won.  But Teddy Anderson is a good shooter and if he gets on fire I could see it happening.

Williston beats Minot by 2 in OT. Elgie has huge game with I think 37.

very close game, very fun to watch, elgie shot the lights out, lot of foul trouble on both sides,  last second shot just fell short to go into double overtime. Minot played very well and made it a close game. it will be very interesting next time these two meet again on Feb, 22

hats off to minot for playin a good game

Good game for Minot.  Elgie couldn't miss.   Williston will have to step it up a notch.  Good luck to Williston this weekend!

I know Minot hasn't exactly been rolling through teams this season, and I realize Zac Elgie is a phenomenal player but Williston sure has had some nailbiters recently, anyone have stats on Qvale, they need to pick it up, they should be winning by more later in the season, not letting teams get closer. Dickinson beat Minot by 15 I think a few weeks ago.

Teddy Anderson a big shot missing?  I consider that luck on Wilistons part.

Minot played great. They had an off night shooting. Elgie stepped it up. This is a good sign for the future.

i actually made the drive to the game.  i think minot played a good game.  they shot a pile of free throws.  i think willistons strength is their post players, all of them dominated when they got the ball especially qvale and schmitz.  the wheels fell of when minot went zone and williston couldn't get the ball inside as much as they should have.  and then minot ran a half court trap late in the 4th quarter, and williston was out of control turning the ball over quite a bit.  the ball happened to bounce willistons way in the OT.

by the sounds of it minot played 8 juniors and only 3 seniors and lost the the number 2 team in the state by 2 points in overtime...that could be a sign that minot might be a very good team next year
