Really in my book whether a guy is averaging 19 and 11 or 20 and 10 is basically a wash. Which is why to me Qvale and Kick are a wash offensively. But there are two sides of the game and NO ONE can tell me that Kick is even half the defensive player Qvale is. Qvale is DOMINATING defensively. Even when he is not blocking shots he is there making every person who shoots think twice. He is the only player in the state that doesn't need to take a shot and can still be the most dominating player on the floor. That is why Qvale is MR. BASKETBALL HANDS DOWN. And don't penalize the man for being 6-11 and saying that "he should" be doing it, because he should be rewarded for doing what he is suppose to do.
I guess at this point I'm at a loss for who should be the winner, I'd like to see Kick get it as he's from my area, however Qvale is quietly sitting on top. One thing though, speaking of defense does anyone know how many blocked shots per game Kick is averaging, it can't be high, but judging by The Midgets' managers and statisticians they're not getting nearly the amount recorded that he gets. I personally saw Kick block 6 shots against Bismarck High, while the statisticians (girls) were barely paying attention. Don't know if that changes minds on Kick's defensive game to anyone, but you have to realize that stats are only on paper until you see them for yourself.
