Preseason All State Projections

Postby balla45 » Tue Oct 22, 2013 4:12 pm

Alphabetical Order

First Team All State

Kretchman, Tanner - Fargo Davies (Explosive scorer. Great shooter.)
Rudolph, Tyler - Bismarck Century (Efficient scorer. Great rebounder.)
Sparks, Darius - Saint Mary's Central (Effective scorer. Efficient volume shooter.)
Strom, Patrick - Fargo Shanley (Great shooter. I think he leads Class A in scoring.)
Weisbeck, Ben - Saint Mary's Central (Explosive scorer. High percentages.)

Yes, I did use the returning All State players as my First Team.

Second Team All State

Bartosh, Chad - Grand Forks Red River (Effective scorer and defender. Great in transition.)
Ferguson, Jayden - Williston (Consistent 17 and 10 threat. Effective finisher.)
Kowlowski, Andrew - Fargo Davies (Very good, well rounded point guard. Very athletic and strong.)
Lloyd, Colton - Fargo South (Explosive athlete. Good, crafy, shooter and scorer.)
Schafer, Taylor - Bismarck (Very, very good shooter. Improved a lot athletically.)

Next Five

Christensen, Jack - Wahpeton (Good scorer. Very good rebounder, passer, and defender.)
Hustad, Colter - Minot (Solid all around post threat. Good shooter to 15'. Good passer.)
Hutchins, Robert - Bismarck Century (Solid second option behind Rudolph. Good shooter.)
Nagel, Scott - Saint Mary's Central (Adept defender. Good shooter.)
Schock, Travis - West Fargo (Absolutely explosive athlete. Good in pick and roll.)

All of these players are seniors. Very good class.

I think he may be a top 5 player in the state. I don't think his numbers or season will be much better, if better, than any returning All State player. Because of that, I do not see him, or Kozlowski, leaping someone.

Yeah. Have not found the total. 36 in regulation. Don't know about overtime.

Anyplace other than the Herald or the Forum that publishes boxscores? The online Herald didn't have the boxscore of the Red River game last night.

well all the newspapers usually have the area teams' box scores. The Herald and Forum struggled to get things online last night...but they were in the actual newspaper (at least the Forum was more complete).
