TOP PLAYERS

I am interested to know opinions on who the top 2 or 3 players are on each team and 1 sleeper player from each team? If you don't know all teams, then just give me the ones that you do or have an opinion on.

All I have to say is if Tanner from Davies is not one of the top players in the state.... you will need to check the votes.

SLEEPER ALERT: Ben Glogoza from Shanley can make a big impact. He may look like he is just running around not knowing what he is doing but he can set some massive screens and grab some big rebounds becuase he is a large man. His passing is underated as his ability to set guys up with easy buckets demonstrates.

Brian Bloms from MHS. Amazing shot and perfect form! The kid can hardly miss and plays some excellent defense. Explosive on both ends of the court, clearly underrated player

Three games in he is averaging 22 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals. I feel safe in stating that he is one of the top players in the state.

Bloms has played very well so far this season and been one of Minot's best players so far this season. However, it was interesting that he did not even start the game in Dickinson, as Austin Frank coming off of suspension bumped him from that starting role.

That is a great luxury to have a player like that coming off the bench. I guess

Still going along with this statement? averaging 27 points, 11 3 balls, with double digit assist? Yah he is just horrendous.

try more like 26.2 ppg, 4.7 apg, 3.5 rpg, 25-47 for 3-pointers (53.2%)...don't just make up the stats.

Either way, he is one of the top players.

It seems the pace of style and play benefits the players in the EDC statistically, by a wide margin. I will site some unique examples.

Currently, the WDA has had one player with a 30 point game, Darius Sparks, with 31 against Fargo Shanley. 5 WDA players, Erron Collins, Darius Sparks, Ben Weisbeck, Tristan Keplin, and Jayden Ferguson have surpassed the 20 point plateau this season.

Currently, the EDC has had one with player with a 40 point game, Patrick Strom, with 40 against Fargo Davies. 7 EDC players, Nathan Mertens, Tanner Kretchman, Patrick Strom, AJ Jacobson, Paxton Lloyd, Mac Kroeplin, and Jack Christensen have all surpassed the 30 point plateau this season.

Also of note, after tonight’s games:

1 WDA player is averaging over 20 points per game, while 5 EDC players are.

Jayden Ferguson of Williston is averaging 21.3 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks per game.

Nathan Mertens of Devil’s Lake is averaging 31.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 6.1 assists.
AJ Jacobson of Fargo Shanley is averaging 26.0 points and 12.0 rebounds.
Tanner Kretchman of Fargo Davies is averaging 25.6 points.
Patrick Strom of Fargo Shanley is averaging 25.2 points.
Paxton Lloyd of Fargo South is averaging 20.7 points.
Colton Lloyd, Mac Kroeplin, David Olson, and Chase Carpenter will all fluctuate around the 20 point mark this season as well.

He's been playing. Has had some issues with foul trouble at times. Numbers also took a major hit by adding the 44 points per game that Kretchman and Olson brought in this season.

maddog is actually saying that Kretchman is one of the top players in the state and if he doesn't get voted as one of the best you should "check the votes". He's saying Kretchman is one of the top players, you guys must've misread his post.

Thanks for the clarification. I assume NDbaseball999 read the post as I did, where it states "Tanner from Davies is not one of the top players in the state." I do think Kretchman has shown his ability this season.
