Jamestown has a talented team this year...I'm sure Mandan just had some jitters. Its the first game of the year...Mandan will turn things around real soon

Fischer is good and Thoreson has extended his range to be reliable from deep, which makes him a unique player to guard. I would like to see Thoreson get more looks, as Anderson takes some incredibly difficult shots. Willer is a fairly effective scorer in the post.

Coyle is not playing as he normally would, which I think is the result of their football season going much longer than it has in the past, giving him less time with a basketball before the season started. Collins had a great first half (13 points 5 assists), but only got 2 shots in the second half. Mandan will need the other athletes from the senior class to improve, which I am sure they will at some point. A lot of missed lay ups for Mandan in this game, I counted 12.

I was really surprised by this game. Mandan will be right there at the end of the year in my opinion. Maybe they are not quite as dominant as many think.

Jamestown is a hard place to play and Jamestown is always been a thorn in Mandan's side every year.

I think alot of people have overlooked Jamestown this year.

Agreed, for some reason Jamestown always plays their best against Mandan every year ( even though Mandan has won every matchup for the past "8?" years), i think they have developed a rival.....plus the Jamestown crowd is awesome, gotta love'em
