Televised Class A Tournament?

Postby Home Run » Tue Feb 17, 2009 2:07 am

As stated in an earlier post, I do not live as close to North Dakota as I once did. Therefore I was wondering if the Class A tournament is still televised by any of the various television markets in the area like it once was in the 1980s.

Yes, KFYR televises, however, with the girls and boys at the same time, there is no televising on Thursday and then they televise the games on Friday and the championship games on Saturday.

Thank you for answering my question. Now I just have to convince some nearby relatives to record it for me.

Anybody know if out-of-towners can watch the televised games on the internet?

You can watch it live streaming at metrotournament.com or just go http://www.metrotournament.com/2009Supe ... court.html
I think you can view previous games. The quality might not be that great.

Am just watching the girls A opening game....pretty small screen, but a great service...unfortunately, the announcer has not given the score (and we are 20 minutes into the game) and the camera has yet to show the scoreboard!!

My streaming keeps having to buff or whatever and it's making the game unwatchable. What is the score?

I think they should do WHATEVER it takes to get the entire tournament on TV. The kids deserve it!
