Fargo: Masters of Deception

Postby heimer » Wed Mar 02, 2016 10:06 am

After making zero mention of the fact that pre-tournament seeding would be used to group teams in the same gym before the EDC opening round, the tournament managers in Fargo screwed Grand Forks Red River Tuesday night.

Red River was the only team in the EDC to advance both girls and boys to the semifinals. But, when the dust settled, West Fargo and Davies were given preference of their teams getting to play in the same gym, similar to Brett Hart in the "Montreal Screwjob" where the fix was in before the ball even went up in the center circle.

The EDC is an absolute farce of a conference. The entire conference is run from Fargo, absolutely no consideration of the athletes and their experience, all about making a dime, that's it.

Since there was such a discussion on their attempt to find neutral sites, they could have simply switched games between Davis and West Fargo.

VCSU, NDSCS both open for games.

Nope, high schools in Fargo.

It's a joke the puppetmasters engineered brilliantly.

"Post-season games will never be in high schools in Fargo."--Ed Lockwood.

"Things change."--Todd Olson.

It makes a lot more sense to just have the games played in Fargo high schools than to have them played in valley city, Whapeton, grand forks, etc, because it will bring in more revenue since Fargo is in the middle of all of the cities, also since pretty much all of the Fargo schools made the tourney the majority of the crowds won't have to travel then.
