How this list should look for BEST OF ALL TIME:

1. Led Zeppelin

2. Pink Floyd

3. Metallica

4. Red Hot Chili Peppers

5. Rolling Stones

As for my favorites, beings that is what most peoples lists look like on here:

1. Metallica (Love the diversity but still having that rock sense to it)

2. Modest Mouse (best ringtone of all time- Float On)

3. Led Zeppelin (no LP's are better to listen to)

4. Rise Against (Not too well known, but I haven't found a song by them I didn't like)

5. Papa Roach (Paramour Sessions is their best work yet)

Honorable Mentions: AFI, Muse, Guns'n'Roses, Black Sabbath, Korn, 10 Years, Queens of the Stone Age, Queensryche, Hellogoodbye, Elf Power, Styx, Queen, Rolling Stones, Disturbed, System of a Down, 18 Visions, and the list goes on and on because there is too many great bands with great songs to narrow down the list....

Bands that should not be mentioned- Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, LFO, Or anything with Nick Carter in it..

I used to listen to a lot of Third Eye Blind. Semi-charmed kind of life, Jumper, Never let you go, Deep inside of you.... the list goes on and on.

I liked the first Yellowcard album but their new stuff isn't the best.

Same goes for Weezer.

All I gotta say is Jack Johnson is the man, if he counts on the list of bands.

The new Taking Back Sunday CD is awesome, cant put it down.

One of the most consistant bands that always have good songs is Linkin Park. Every cd is amazing and I can't wait for a new one.

Skynard has like one good song. KoRn's songs are all very good, and Jet has 2 that I can think of. Be my girl and Look what you've done

Skynard has more than one good song, Sweet Home Alabama, Free Bird, Simple Man etc. and Jet is a very underated band. not many people have heard more than one or two of their songs. go buy their first album, it is very good.
