You obviously care... and you can't deny that she is a really good centerfielder. A true leader, on and off the field.

I don't really care...now if we were talking about shortstops or catchers that's different story

P.S. Bowar is the best SS in the state and should be Miss Softball

I believe Bailee Noriega (catcher from Fargo South) will beat out Kayla Bowar for Miss Softball.

It will be close.. I think Bowar will edge her out. I haven't really been paying attention to anyone but the centerfielders because i think they deserve some respect. Jackson has been under the radar (zzzzt) but will have an outstanding tournament I believe.

I think Dickson from Central deserves argument for the best SS in the state. Range, arm, athleticism, defensive plays NO one else makes. Besides that her best position is catcher but she is more valuable to the team at short. She started varsity baseball as a freshman at second base and the outfield as an 8th grader for her Class B high school. Not because they were short numbers but because she is that good. Also started at catcher for her Babe Ruth baseball leagues all star game and threw out over 50% of base stealers for the season.

Dickson from Central was a standout and from what i heard definitely played like a Miss Softball candidate this weekend.

WF won both games against North to win their 10th straight title

According to the Fargo Forum Dickson from Central was Miss Softball and Tom Frappier was coach of the year.

They did not have a varsity fastpitch team.

Should there be a forum under other sports for Girsl Fastpitch Softball? There are as many if not more ND High Schools offering this sport on a varsity level as Girls Hockey. I believe you would also find that their are more girls participating in this sport at the Junior High and High School level than alot of other varsity sports. Also, the NDSU Women's team has a strong possibility of winning the first official league title for any NDSU sport and getting into the NCAA playoffs!

Any comment? Agree or Disagree there should be a forum for this sport?

Add Bismarck, Enderlin and Wyndmere to schools with teams.

These schools have varsity girls fastpitch softball teams;

Shanley-Oak Grove-Park Christian
Fargo N
Fargo S
Enderlin
GF Central
GF Red River
Bismarck
West Fargo
Bishop Ryan
Minot Ryan

These schools have teams but play a JV schedule;
Devils Lake
Wyndmere

I think that Bismarch Century and/or Manday will also field teams if they see Bismarck High be successfull.

Who is coaching the Shanley varsity team this year? Is Tom Frappier still their head coach?
