you have a couple of things i would like ot make question to... one is that you have two guys( spencer kamoni, jamestown and levi sether, century) who were junior sophmore last year and 20 21 at satte last year out of the top 30 and move guys who were upper 30s into top 20? dont quite see that reasoning

Ah...well I overlooked them when I was going off of the State results...my bad...but these rankings also are not just from state's times.

After watching Spencer Uetz run tonight I think he will be the one to beat for the whole state...Uetz ran well for horrible conditions in a 5k in Fargo!

He has drive. He runs every day (including the winter). No one is more prepared for this season than him. I garuntee it.

His race was very good yesterday...he got 2nd (losing to Ruari Moyninan...former Fargo South runner). He ran a 16:12...but take better conditions and that time would have been in the 15:45 range! I didn't get to see his finish...because I was a little bit further back in the race.

That is impressive. I was looking for the results in 'the forum', but they weren't there.
You will always get really fast times on road races in the F-M area, because it's so flat. There are no hills to speak. Just wait until the first meet of the year at Jamestown. It always is a impossible challenge at the beginning of the year. If I may say, Uetz blacked out at the jamestown meet last year (But he crawled to the finish and still almost beat two kids).

Bakken-No, Kloster-Who? Carlson-Who?............And it goes on. The EDC won't be competition. That will be WF. The state meet is the one that will be jumbled up.

On a different note, anybody have the results of the Scheels 5k run on July 11, in Fargo?

Waha never runs good at big meets, at least from what i have seen the last two years and jamison and spencer have been putting on the miles... it will go something like this : spencer and jamison ( 1 and 2 or 2 and 1) then waha sem and shane harlow ( 3 and 4 or 4 and 3) those are my top 4 edc runners

I've heard that Spencer Uetz from West Fargo injured his hip and has been reduced to bike workouts because he can't run.

So would knowing that Josh Hanson from WF will not be running this year. He was their 3rd runner at state last year.

That should make the EDC a 3-team race now (dead heat style)!

He decided to focus entirely on soccer. WF cross country is plagued with double sports people. Salter is doing football as a place kicker and cross country (he used to do soccer). Their is a new kid who also does football. Kroke decided to focus on soccer, also.

Really?!? That's surprising because he showed true promise in cross country.
I was reading the cross country preview in "The Forum" and they said Laura Roesler is not a member of the South team yet. What's the deal with that?

After seeing Bismark run this weekend at their invite and score 29 points at a meet with century, I think that this has to put them as the overwhelming favorite to win the whole state meet.
