Why so many disqualifications????

Why were there so many runners disqualified at the state meet? I've been to many state meets and it is unheard to have any runners disqualified. You never heard about it....But 15 this year in one state meet? What the heck????

There was a lot of cutting corners and flags...especially in the Class A boys race!
