As part of USA Milesplit's 'Future Stars' series, they interviewed freshman Jalen Chase from New Town's boy's cross country team. Jalen finished in 3rd place at State Class B this year, only 5 seconds behind sophomore teammate Ryan Wheeling in a race where New Town scored a ridiculous 24 points. For how young the team is, they are going to be pretty darn good for the next few years.

So in the interview he says, "Coach Anderson and Coach Hale had practice all summer long and we were running up to 10 miles each practice." Isn't that illegal?
