North Dakota Preps

No players qualified at Botno today....medalist was an 80 I believe. Very few good scores today in bad weather.

I believe Marshall actually shot a 75. Just judging by the footage off of TV, Prairie West didn't look like it was in too good of shape...the greens looked pretty dead, but I guess what can you expect when you don't get rain. Poor course conditions could have contributed to higher scores.

I also beleieve that Chad is hitting his stride at the right time...Marshall definitely has the game to contend for State, and if he continues to build on the momentum that he has right now, I'm thinking he's going to make some noise at the end of the year...just a prediction though.

oak grove wins team qualifier by 18.... somewhere around 314...
cory samson wins with 76, michael vandevoort takes 2nd with 78, andrew hokanson takes 3rd with 79, some kid from may port also shoots 79, big tie for 5th... a bunch of kids shot 80.. top ten were under 83.. among the top ten were erik collins, carrington.. Arick Scheer, carrington, Jeff rustvang, Oak grove, Jordie siverson, Oak grove.. Mark Adams, Kindred.

the girls and guys both played on the same day, so play was a little slow...

We should have that tournament class b would get worked...you play from the whites and state is at the creek anything over par isnt deserving or winning state

Weather today at Lakota (Rock Creek Golf Course) was very miserable. 35+ MPH winds with little tree cover. The three teams representing Region 3 at state are Hatton-Northwood, Larimore and Grafton. The only individuals going to state that aren't on those respective teams are Taylor Christianson of Cavalier and Josh Leuhring from Dakota Prairie.

wow... hatton northwood is going to state again, for like the 10th year.. are they actually gonna do something at state this year?? i think this is probably there best year in along time..

really all 6 golfers in the 70's at the conference meet two years ago wasn't the best? oh and its 5 years in a row
