How does one district in the region have 8 teams and the other only have five. Doesnt really make to much sense doesnt. All but one team from district 6 will make the region.

The number of teams in a District is set by the NDHSAA and is pretty much the same for basketball and volleyball. They do not look to see if every school has a volleyball team or how the co-ops affect the District alignment. I do agree it is not very fair to have unbalanced Districts when it comes to qualifying for Regionals. (But, then again, if you are good enough you will make it to Regionals most of the time.)

I'm not positive:
1) Linton
2) KC
3) Napoleon
4) South Border
5) Strasburg

There are still matches to be played, but if the tournament started today that is how it would go, I think.
