COVID and 2021

I'm totally out of the loop now as to what's going on in high schools. Are schools showing any worry that we are in for cancellations with the new surge? It's hard to believe that we may be at the mercy of people who refuse to take a shot.

I don't think there is much/any worry about a new surge.

I think sports will be fairly normal this season.

if there isn't any worry yet, there probably SHOULD be.

I agree. My mind has changed in 10 days since I posted. I just wish everyone would get vaccinated. I realize that is a pipe dream.

VB starts in a week. Who are the favorites?
R1 - NC, CC, and Kindred. I'm kind of guessing there.
R2 - Grafton, Thompson, MPCG(?) I think this is the year Grafton gets Thompson.
R3 - Linton. I'm sure there are other good teams, but they are the prohibitive favorite.
R4 - LEM. I'm not sure who other potential good teams might be.
R5-8 - I have no idea.

Benson County and North Star could challenge LEM in Region 4

Does that mean LEM lost a lot from last year, or is it that the others have improved?

Don't know too much, just taking a guess. I know LEM graduated a few, but have a lot of young talent. BC has most everyone back and had a good season. North Star still has Hagler, correct?

Is there any place where you can find the scores of each set? I find it pretty sad that it is 2021 and finding this stuff is difficult to impossible to find.

Any report on the Langdon injury on Saturday? Is it a season-ender?
