Region 3 is on BEK...that is it.

I recently switched to Midco for tv. On BEKs website, they show that Midconet has BEK on channel 4, yet when I've gone to Channel 4 in the past to see a game, it hasn't been on (and isn't listed in the guide). Can anyone tell me what channel the Region 3 games will be on?

Channel 4 standard definition...not in the HD listings.

Yep, I watched the last set of Oakes and Linton/HMB on Midco Channel 4 after turning off the NC vs Richland match.

Thanks. That seemed to be the logical date based off of when basketball starts this year.

Region favorites for the 2019 season?
R2 - I think has to be Thompson. They still have a lot of quality pieces coming back. MPCG should return a lot too. It feels like Grafton has the right coach in place to take advantage of their large enrollment advantage too.
R4 - Langdon
I have no clue on the rest of the regions.

Langdon/Edmore/Munich is so far the favorite in R4...next has to be North Star but I don't think anyone can compete with LEM.

Similar talk with Thompson in R2...some teams will steal a set from them but they have too much experience coming back to see them falter this year...plus Strand always gets the best out of her players.

This would be the first year without him. No idea where he went...news to me that he wasn't coaching this year

Talked to former NC VB athlete...he just isn’t coaching this year

Tom Klapp took an elevated day job role at Northern Cass and stepped down from his head volleyball coaching gig to be able to put the time and energy into his new role.

Oakes must the region 3 favorite and maybe the favorite in state?
that was a dominating performance in the Northern Cass tournament.

Oakes & Carrington are Region 3 favorites, IMO

Region 3 is shaping up to be a good one, Carrington beat Oakes in the Valley City tournament, then Carrington beat LaMoure in the championship. Then on Tuesday LaMoure beat Carrington in a 5 setter. Linton will also be in the mix. Once again Region 3 is a tough one, by far the toughest region in the state to get out of.

A fantastic match tonight between Central Cass and Hillsboro/CV.
Hillsboro wins: 28-26, 24-26, 26-24,23-25,20-18. Hillsboro comes back from 0-9 in the 5th set.

Some good matches and high quality volleyball in the DesLacs Tournament last weekend. ORCS beat Carrington in the championship while Langdon beat Thompson for 3rd place. Other teams in the gold division were Medina and LLM, making Region 3 well represented once again.
ORCS looked pretty good - tremendous defensive coverage, IMO, is their best weapon.

ORCS’ closest match of tourney was a split with Oak Grove (who won silver division)...heard that match was very exciting. Des Lacs never fails to put on a quality tournament...competition there is better than the state tournament

I have no clue on the rest of the regions.

R2 - Thompson might walk through the region tournament, but Cavalier gave them a fight in the final regular season match. Those were Thompson's first sets lost in the region this year. HCV is playing really well right now.
R3 - I'm cheering for LHMB, but I have a feeling they're the 4th best team in the region.
R4 - Looks like Langdon EM again.

I'm getting awfully tired of Langdon beating North Star year-after-year (except once). Is there a team in any sport that has totally dominated the field as much as Langdon VB has? Maybe West Fargo softball, but I don't think that lasted as long as Langdon's run of great teams. I realize WF softball has a lot more state championships than Langdon.
