Are there any young wrestlers that might do some surprising at the upper weights in 2007. Like the 140# through to the 215# weights. I know it will vary over the summer and football season, too early to tell but I think there may be some good young wrestlers coming out.

Not very many look to surprise anyone. I've got a few There's a kid from A-W thats a freshman and looked pretty good, he was at 160.  Valley City's team coming up might do fairly well there is a lot of freshman on the team.  That have some Varsity experience.

The kid from WF @ i believe 125 or 130 did well @ state, I think he was young-Dusty or something like that. How about this Grothman from Hillsboro he's like a freshman or something. Any others let 'er rip.

You can't forget Luke Mellmer, he is the last Mellmer to come through and next year will be his last and he won't leave with out another state championship.

As an 8th grader that is a great accomplishment. He's still got 4 more years and in the upper weights makes that an even better accomplishment.
