Yes, Regionals are double elimination. Also state Legion is double elimination also. Might not be so good for teams that dont have pitching depth to.

I hadn't thought of that. They'd have to have a best-of-3 quarterfinal, then a double elimination Final 4 a week later which conflicts with legion season.

They could also have a five day tourney like the Legion does. I dont quite understand why regionals are double elim and state is single, but im sure there is a good reason for it.

i would think too that if they turned baseball into double elimination, then basketball would want to try it, maybe volleyball. who knows, probably football, too. then there would be armagedon.
