Now that the regular season is over who would everyone pick as all state players, even though there arent "official" all state selections like in other sports.

Conrad Nelson could be Center field.  if that ball is hit in the air that kid can prety much cover the whole gaps.  and he has a cannon to go with the range.  Grover doesnt seem quite like an All-State outfielder.  Hes not the quickest guy and how good is his cannon?

i doubt that i saw both of them play and nelson has twice as much range as grover.  i have also seen nelson throw out numerous baserunners over the years.

I wont say  he is the best centerfielder in class b , but the Backes kid from bishop ryan has a cannon for an arm.

I wouldnt call it a "stuff contest" i simply asked if the guy could gover ground because i have never seen him play before.  So sorry for wanting to know waht the kid was good at?  i suppose us talking about his fielding implies he cant hit huh??

wurtz has thrown a total of roughly 6 innings this year. theres a good possibility that he will throw more at state but i dont know if i would give him all state at pitcher. he definitely deserves it at another position.

hes the best pitcher in the state and theres no more room for him on this list... no way he should take over catcher... so i will keep him there

Should there be an all-state DH?  I know teams that use one frequently.

Zack Schafer from Langdon is the best pitcher if not the best player in class B this year. His stats are pretty impressive.

What are the stats of Zach Schafer. I have heard alot about him.

This is what I read on him stat wise.

Hitting out of the leadoff slot, Schafer is solid with a .409 average and has stolen 14 bases on the season.

But it is pitching where Schafer sets himself apart as he plays a large role in Langdon’s team ERA of 2.79.

The Mayville State recruit is 9-0 on the year and has an earned run average of 0.61 that has been assisted by the fact he has given up just three earned runs along with throwing a pair of no-hitters. The definition of a strikeout pitcher, Schafer has 53 punchouts in 34.1 innings of work while allowing 13 hits, with four in his final start, on the year

Huettl is batting over .600 but mainly in part to a weak region with not a lot to offer for good pitching, but when he has faced good pitching he hasn't let up
