Steele has only 3 people not from Steele-Dawson school.  But the 3 players that do come are from 3 different school.  So its not like no kids play from that school, just not as many.

Does anyone know how many HR Darin Rassmuson from Washburn has.  It seems like I see he hits one every game in the paper? He has to have atleast 5 or 6

I would say Grafton, Bishop Ryan, Langdon, or Steele-Dawson could give them a run.

Washburn and Steele-Dawson face off on Tuesday.  Should be a good game between the two teams... equally balanced and have good hitters on each team.  Eberle and Rasmussan look to lead the Washburn Cardinals

Well here's what was written in the Mayville Tribune this past weekend on the Thompson baseball team. It was by a guy who does sports and has his own column talking about anything from Local high school and college to professional and are pretty much just his opinion. I don't agree with everything said but its an opinion and everybody's allowed to have one.

The Thompson high school baseball team sent out a strong message last week when they easily swept central Valley-Hillsboro in a doubleheader. The Tommies, defending state B champions, will walk to another state champion this year, and could possibly do it with out breaking a sweat.
That's because CV-Hillsboro was expected to be the team to have the best chance of challenging Thompson this year, and the Tommies won both games by 10 runs or more.
If you recall, at the state tournament last year, Thompson easily won three games, outscoring the opponent s something like 49-6 in the process. Unfortunately, that same scenario could happen again this year, because usually the toughest games the Tommies have are against their own region opponents. And they've already walloped the closest contender twice.

Steele Dawson defeats Medina 14-2, 15-0 pulling off 12 straight wins.  No stats but I'm sure they will get in here from the usual guy.  3 guys hit homers Berreth, Nelson, Bakkum (grand slam).  Thanks rep...  Steele plays a big game against Washburn tomorrow which should be a show down.

Just a quick fact. In region games this year(the first one that counts) Velva has outscored their opponents 55-4, those four runs being unearned.

Where does this put Steele in the State title contention. 3 of 4 from Velva. 2 of 2 from Langdon. 2 of 2 from Washburn so far.  Thats 7 for 8 against the top 6 in the state with Midkota later in the year.

Not to be a dude or anything, but move that conversation to another thread. This thread is results. Try the thread already about Steele.
