First off, it's not Nick. Second off, I wasn't bragging anyone up. Lastly, I said a highlight of the game and the score. If you can't handle that, refrain from posting.

from april 20

dakota prairie, aided by a 10-run third, knocked off carrington 16-1 in mackville. seth nichols went 3-for-3 with a double while griffin ham got a pair of hits.

brad solberg got the lone hit for carrington.

brent luehring pitched for the win. dilan hewitt for the loss.

dp is 1-2...i think carrington is 1-4?

midkota handed pbk its first loss of the season as they touched up nick bata for nine runs in five innings and won 10-0.

bryan christianson, sheldon harding (winning pitcher with 6 k's, 1 bb), lucas stangeland and trevor quick each had two hits for midkota.

a kid named heinley had a pair of hits for pbk. if anyone knows his first name it would greatly be appreciated.

bata had 5 k's, 4 bb's and 3 hbp's before giving way to steele (if anyone knows his first name too...that would be great).

pbk is 4-1 overall and 4-1 in the region. midkota is 4-2 overall and 2-2 in the region.

If I was a betting man I'd put my money on Steele-Dawson.  I was fortunate enough to make it down to the Langdon match up they had and I was instantly impressed at how they mantained composure.  No doubt about it, they will be a juggernaut with motivation at state this year.   I would really be pleased to see them and Thompson meet in the State Tournament.

posting baseball's wrapup (which was in the sdwtprn thread) of the thursday sdwtprn games versus standing rock:

Steele-Dawson took a pair from Standing Rock tonight.  11-1 and 14-2.  In the first game Conrad Nelson was ripping the cover off hte ball going 3-3.  Mark Bakkum highlighted the second game with his Grand Slam.  Nick Lang and Klay Hetletved got the wins on the mound for the Pirates

my own additions:

standing rock's william walking elk scored his team's only run in the first game and then hit a two-run homer in the second game.

No, but I am an avid baseball fan and the team to watch right now is Steele and Thompson.

Because they are a co-op so if their were any kids who were from any of those towns that wanted to play baseball thats were they would play.

That's stupid though, if no kids from that town are on the team then they shouldnt be part of the name.
