What does everyone think about the B poll do you think everyone is in the spot that they deserve at the beginning of the year?

Velva has 1-2 starters back, the kids they will bring up can ball.  Watch Michael Mack, he will be a great player.

remember there are only about 40 class b baseball teams in state , so alot easier to be in the top 10 in baseball than basketball, coaches talk and kind of know who will and will not be good.

Velva doesnt bring back many guys and graduated alot of seniors but they had a Senior Babe Ruth team last year so all of these guys have had a lot of experience.

i find it hard to believe that may-port cg is a top ten team, i couldn't name a pitcher that could win games on a regular basis for them, i know they have a couple good players but they are position players and in class b pitchers rule, i hope mayville can do good, but theres no way they're even in the same class as thompson.  Either way I know Rakowski and Fyre are going to have great numbers this year, look for both to head to a college team.

Yeah I have no clue how MPCG is ranked in the top 10. I heard if they didn't allow 8th graders to play they wouldn't have a team. I'm guessing they won't be on that poll to long unless the rest of the team in their region other then Thompson are weak. Langdon and Grafton will be interesting in that region and Velva and Minot Ryan in the other region will be interesting to.

how can we forget about us in harvey, we beat steele dawson twice last year in legion ball and have 8 returning starters with all of our pitching staff back, having velva and steele above harvey is horrible

How can you have 8 returning starters?  catcher is gone from legion, 3rd is gone from legion, Hoovy(sp?) is gone from legion, 2nd base in adam shawn(sp?) is also gone.

Hanson was at 3rd and clean up hitter?  How was he not a good player?  Adam kid hit around .400 in legion if i remember right, from the state legion program.

first off Adam Schann was not very productive at the plate hitting around .250, also this year, fessenden is coming here instead of having their own team, with that we will gain a great catcher, and 3 very productive players, this we didnt have in the legion state team, also, we have 4 pitchers in high school that throw 80+, two that throw upper 80s, that will help huh?

80+ on who's radar gun?  I've never, ever heard of a class B team in the state that has four (much less 1 or 2) guys that throw 80+ on the same team at the same time.  Are these guys being looked at by any professional scouts?

lots of class B pitchers throw 80+.  If the 2 harvey kids throw 80 it aint higher than 82.

I think this kid might be going a little overboard with his team.

No kidding, if you threw upper 80's, there would defenitely be talk about you. So telling people your fastball is 10 mph faster than it really is, isn't gonna fool anybody.

anyway when you have a junior and a senior that throw 85+ by far a person's team should be able to do better than fourth or fifth in the region and even if one is injured you schould still be able to do good

Even if they can throw 80+ doens't mean much. Might first time around but 2nd time around good batters will hit that with ease unless they have a good change up. I have yet to seea really good curve in class B ball. Hovey last year in legion was Harvey's Ace by Far. Lorenz can throw hard, i wouldn't doubt higher 80s, but it's hittable. No one has had any talk about Kensal, they have some nice players. I believe one is playing baseball at Mayville.
