probably starts inches from the ground, rises (up and in to righ-handers i might add), then drops (down and away from the right_hander), and finally makes some sort of loop just before going into the catchers glove. id probably throw it every time if i knew how

i'd say like a screwball, cause it breaks the opposite way of a slider

i believe the mathimatical equation for a gyroball is screwball+sinker+some funky japanese magic=gyroball, to bad i'll never be able to throw it i dont have the secret ingrediant

haha, i throw something that moves like that, i guess i thought it was a screwball, but maybe its a gyroball.. Obviously it isn't as hard or have as much movement cause if that was the situation i'd be in the majors by now.. It worked good in high school, got alot of batters to swing over it. maybe the only thing is you have to be japanese to call it a gyro ball

i'm saying i learned how to throw a SCREWball with the same grip and it got the same movement, just not as much movement and not as fast, as the gyroball on that video on youtube.. I call it a screwball, he calls it a gyroball..

haha, yah man.. i guess you could say that.. i threw it maybe 7 times a game, and i got people to swing and miss usually about 4 of those times.. the other ones were balls.. wasn't my best pitch..

I was reading an article on the web and it says that there is only 2 players that can throw the gyroball. Daisuke Matsuzaka and a minor league pitcher. Matsuzaka also says he cant throw it consistant.
