Any thoughts on what this spring is going to be like for HS baseball? Even if we get a quick melt, it is going to take a long time for fields to dry out. Do any teams have artificial turf fields besides Shiloh? I'm glad I don't have to deal with game schedules in the southeastern part of the state this spring! I am afraid it is going to be a tough spring for HS baseball in ND.

Didn't Mayville St turn their field to turf? If not, I think it's in the works.

Yeah I know the fball field got turf, but I think the entire project also includes doing the baseball field. Maybe they still have some fundraising to do.

HCV split with Thompson. Could HCV contend with Thompson in the region?

If it was a "second game" split, it really means nothing as most teams around here play JV as the second game. IMO, the only team in the State that competes with Thompson is Park River.

It was the first game. HCV won 6-3. Thompson came back and won the second game 11-6. IMO, maybe a little hiccup for Thompson. Still a very strong team. Once the season gets rolling they'll be back in the groove. Does anyone know if every region does double elimination for the regional tournaments?

REally Nice to finally seeing some games being played here in the East. Lots of games in a short amount of time. It will test how deep the pitching is on each team. So teams are getting in 6 to 8 games this week.
