I was wondering is there regional tournament for Babe Ruth state champions or is that it for Babe Ruth. I see there are ones for large cities but wondering for class b towns if there is regional.

Yes it was. This still young team with most of these kids having more years available to play at Babe Ruth level but a lot of these kids also played at legion level this year. I think this will be good things to come for the Langdon baseball its going to get more kids going out for baseball. Also its area team with kids coming from Edmore and Munich to the team which should help more kids there to participate in baseball. Nothing helps more for a program than to have some winning success plus having talented kids choose from. Baseball needs to get more participation in the state because number of towns fielding teams has been shrinking and remaining ones having hard time to field teams.

Great post! I agree. You need great coaches at the younger levels. When you win you like the game. Look at what Brent Zimmerman did for the Park River program in about 10 years. Great Coach and dedicated volunteer to the baseball and hockey program. He's from Hoople but Park River should give him a key to the city :D IMO!!!!
