I like the fact that both ND Division winners get to go now...and not have a one-game playoff like in the past.

I thought the tourney was in Nebraska, so now that makes sense I guess

Carrington beat River Falls WI in a thriller...7-6 in 12 innings

Looks like both teams should advance if things go as planned today, however the two ND team will matchup against each other in the tourney round

WOW...what a game between Carrington and Wahpeton tonight. Carrington led 6-4 with 2 out in the 7th but Wahp scored 2 to tie it 6-6. In the top of the 9th Wahp scored 2 again but Carrington scored 2 in the bottom to keep the game alive at 8-8. Wahp scored 2 yet again in the top of the 11th only to have Carrington score 2 in the bottom of 11 to tie it one more time at 10. In the top of th 14th Wahp again scored 2 more runs. Carrington battled back again to tie it at 12 and then with 1 out and the bases loaded scored the winning run on a wild pitch...13-12. Great atmosphere at the park with the crowd really getting into the game in extra innings. Thanks to both teams for an epic battle. Congrats to Wahpeton on a great season and to Carrington for moving on.
