Any thoughts on the Northeast Region for legion? I think Nelson County and Thompson should be the favorites with the whole team returning for Nelson County. Thompson returns a few from last years state runner up team. Langdon and Park River should also be fair. Langdon made some noise in the state tournament last year and Park River is getting better every year. Any other thoughts/predictions?

Nelson county should be one of the favorites for the region they pretty much return everyone from last years team it will also depend on if they return all of their players from last year. Thompson should also be strong with number of kids returning and very strong baberuth from last year should be a very competitive team. Scwabe should lead very good pitching staff for them. Langdon will be very young team again with just couple of senior or final year players they lost Kelton Agnes and Cade Penguilly it will take some time to replace their pitching strength they had. But Langdon has several young players that should be able to start filling these loses as well as couple of new players I hear that will be participating this year so they will be in the mix in the region. Park River should be in the mix also they have experienced team and one of the better hitting teams around. It will come down to if they have enough pitching depth at the end of year to make a run at it in the regional. I also think couple of other teams could be in the mix and could pull upset along the way on given night time will tell.

My predictions for the region
1. Nelson County
2. Thompson
3. Harvey
4. Park River
5. Langdon
6. Minto
7. Larimore
8. Cando
After Nelson County and Thompson this should be a balanced region overall

Yeah, Nelson County is going to be tough. When you combine all those High School teams and towns known for baseball history, you have a heck of an All Star team. They are strong hitters 1-9, solid defensively and are DEEP< DEEP pitching. Plus, they lost NOBODY off their team that went to State last year. IMO, the "B" division is theirs to lose.

yes their very good team but Carrington is returning their whole team too that won class b last year. Also Thompson which took second is returning large portion of their team from last year. Also several other teams may have say in this before season is done a lot of good baseball teams out their this year. It will come down who's playing well and pitching at the end I expect very good season in baseball.

Im sorry, but if you look back Carrington had guys from Midkota and Kensal on their state championship team in 2001. Also had many kids from Midkota and Kensal from 2002 to 2008. Many teams in the past, present, and future will have to be made up of multiple schools to fill a roster. Carrington is fortunate they have the numbers to field their own team and be extremely successful with their own kids. They are one of the favorites again this year with who they have returning.

Sorry for what? What towns made up Carrington's team in '01 and '02-'08 had nothing to do with my post. Simply was stating how good Nelson County was going to be and yes, Carrington should compete this year as well.
