The two most obvious people are Lundy and Liffrig. They had just an incredible summer. Over 50 HR's between both of them...wow!

I'd have to add Leer to that list. One of the best pure hitters i've seen in a long time.

Very, very true. The truest test of Leer was when Coach Cote moved him behind Liffrig in the game against Fargo and he hit 2 bombs.

In the state tournament Cote put Leer behind Liffrig so they couldnt walk Liffrig to get to a weaker hitter, so by doing that they had no choice but to pitch to Liffrig Because Leer had one heck of a summer as well. Liffrig is going to University of Mary correct? What are people's thoughts on that?? I think he could have done better but living up here is hard to get looks ..
