I agree, GF should be good next year.  They only lose 2 key players, Spies and Bakke.  A real good class coming up from the Blues.  Pitching may lack depth but Kreis and Potter should be returning, and there is always a chance (slim) that Landry could return.

GF looses there 2,3,4,6 hitters from this year...Bakke, Spies, Cary, and Kraft...That was the main source of there RBI production from last year...I agree that they have some young talent coming up, but next year might be sort of a rebuilding year for GF...look for them to be pretty good in a couple of years

Where do you get your facts?  GF loses Spies and Bakke, but Kraft often batted near the bottom of the order, and Cary barely played all season because of injuries.  Potter batted 4th and Kreis 6th.  Throw in Satler and Melland you have 4 of the top 6 hitters back.

Actually Cary batted 4 and potter batted 5...Kraft was either 5,6, or 7 depending on who was playing...So they will have there #1, 2, and 6 hitters back that really made an impact this year

I assume you are referring to Sadler, Melland, and Kreis.  Don't forget about Potter in the 4 or 5 hole.  Either way they should be as good as anyone next year hitting.  Their big concern will be replacing all the innings Kraft, Palmiscino, and Spies threw last year.

I agree...they should be a solid hitting team next year... there should be a lot of good players coming up in the GF system too...From what i hear the class B GF team had a good summer last year and has quite a few good players that should be able to help out the royals quite a bit next year.
