Now we are in the middle of June, everybody has played in a couple tournaments. What are the predictions for state in the east and west? any surprise teams?

Who are the favorites in the West in each age group (13, 14, and 15 year olds) to get to state?

i think the 15s in the west will look somewhat like this

1.bismarck

2.williston

3.jamestown

4.minot

i dont think dickinson has a team but if they do i have them at 3 and jamestown 4

You are an idiot if you think anyone but West Fargo will win the 13-year-old division.  They have won it three years in a row and just returned from a USSSA Major tournament in Omaha, Nebraska where they lost to Knoxville, Tennessee in the Championship.  If anyone else is going to win it, it would be Grand Forks but definately not Fargo.

anything can happen come tournament time. you for one should know, you played in that crap game against central at edc. so before you start bashing somebody for their predictions, take note that there are other teams in the state. try to look outside your little world of west fargo.

I think what he means is that w.f is the front runner but there are other good teams out west in Dickinson , Bismarck, etc and Grand Forks is very good also but it is an off the chart prediction to pick Farg as they are th 5th or 6th at best in the state at this age group.

thats exactly it those are all solid teams but fargo has no shot.  and tournament time at younger age groups is alot different than high school or legion conference tournaments because the upper echelon of teams is alot better than the rest and moves deeper in the tourney.  Basically there are much fewer upsets.

Bismarck won the West Region 14 year old tourney quite convincingly. Minot took 2nd, Mandan took 3rd and williston took 4th.

Well West Fargo lost twice to GF so are you so sure, GF teams seem to peak come tourney time. I've got to say GF or Bismark will win it all.

Dont even come close to counting West Fargo out!  They can hit far better than they showed and both games could have gone either way.  Bismarck is not that great it will be Grand Forks and West Fargo in the state championship for the third year in a row.  I am concerned at how well Grand Forks' pitching staff will hold up  since their ace threw an unheard of 152 pitches at age 13!!!!! in one game at EDC that is terrible and the coaches need to step in an not ruin young arms.  Another Grand Froks pitcher was pulled after opposing coaches noticed he had pitched too many innings in the tournament.

I really doubt anybodys going to beat the Bismarck 14's or 15's.  They are both the favorites at their state tournaments.  As for 13's it's prolly going to be GF or WF

do you remember last years bismark 15 yo team??? people said no one whould ever beat  them but Fargo stepped up in state and won. that can  happen this year. the fargo 15 yo's this year are starting to catch up to deyle's (spelling??) pitching and they out hit bismark in the bemidji tourny but a single crucial error caused they game. you can doubt fargo if u want but bismark should watch out for them in state

i'm pretty sure that bismarcks 15 year old team this year wont choke like last years 15 year old team, all they have to do is not go into the tournament thinking they will run over everybody and just play there game.
