All you need to know... http://www.baseball.legion.org/region_6_pairings.php

They even have live game tracker for all of the regional games so you can keep track, it's pretty cool.

Anybody know a thing or two about the other teams? Do Minot or Dickinson have a chance? Also, I was looking through the Middle Atlantic region pairings and the Pennsylvania champ, Boyerton who made the WS last year has a record of 53-1 that is amazing.

my money is on eastview or np dodge to win the regional. if dickinsons bats get going and stay going they might have a shot to win it, same goes for minot. but i dont think dickinson or minot has the pitching depth that some of these other teams are going to have.

agreed, eastview or NP dodge have best shot to win the regional. I can see Minot beating blue springs only because they have bollinger to pitch for them, when bollinger doesnt pitch minot will not win a game. I think dickinson has a great shot to go deep in the tourney, with laylock and schroeder pitching and their high powered offense they can do a lot of damage

When did Post 2 play Blue Springs?

That blue Fike team, they were without two of their top pitchers though along with their starting 3rd basemen

Looks like there will be a big pitching match at hand for Minot vs. Missouri. If Missouri throws their ace who currently plays for the Univ. of Mississippi and assuming Minot throws Bollinger, this could be a very good match up. The BLue Springs team has a 50-6 record.

If that is true and he throws for Ole Miss, Minot doesnt have a chance to win. I know bollinger is a good pitcher but Minot doesnt have enough offensive power (throughout their whole lineup) to keep up with that. Minot will lose their first game by 8 runs or more.

I don't think Minot will win, but this could possibly be a good low scoring affair. Bollinger is a good pitcher to keep them in it. I think it could be a lower scoring game. I'll say Missouri 5 Minot 2.

Minnesota leads Dickinson 17-3 in the ninth. I would say pathetic showing by the Riders. They've struggled on D all game with mental mistakes and errors. They couldn't bring any runs across in first 6 innings. And they haven't been swinging the bats as I've been listening to the radio they've had quite a few backwards K's and their just not being aggressive.

Minot was trailing 8-1 heading into the 9th and they have now made it an 8-7 ball game. Ben Kramer hit a bases clearing double and is now the tying run.

The pitcher for Missouri pitched 8 innings and struck out 15... impressive

And Creighton Bachmeier strikes out looking to end the game. Missouri over Minot 8-7. Seriously, how do you strike out looking with the tying run on 3rd?

Why do some states have two teams? I understand the host city gets their team in the tournament. But I saw Eden Prarie is playing the Great Lakes Region and Apple Valley is in the Central Plains Region.
