The score is correct.  And whoever you are, how can you say that Mandan could not beat minots jv.  In the past week they have knocked off 2 powerhouses (williston and minot).  It's ok that you don't think highly of Mandan, but dont knock them down to that level when they deserve some respect for what they've done, even if they had there ups and downs this year

I congradulate mandan on the great upset it makes the west look like a cake walk less and less every game and proves no one is unbeatable!

Mandan always plays Minot tough, especially when Borr pitches.  Doesn't matter if it's high school or legion.

Mandan 5-0, Minot 1-6

MINOT - Brian Borr pitched a six-hit complete game as Mandan snapped Minot's 10-game winning streak Tuesday with a 5-1 West Region win in the first game of a doubleheader.

Borr struck out one and didn't walk a batter. He allowed a Kory Houston home run in the bottom of the first inning, but shut out the hard-hitting Magicians on five hits the rest of the way.

Minot was coming off an 8-0 week in which it outscored its opponents 98-5.

Mike Quast and Matt Keller both went 3-for-4 to lead Mandan's 11-hit attack.

Minot took the non-region game 6-0 behind Dane Towery's three-hitter.

Towery also went 2-for-3 with two runs batted in and Tyler Lundy and Fred Nelson both doubled.
