and also he is i believe 3.5 to a 4.0 student, i know he is on high honors every quarter, so why would he be held back, again if you don't know don't make it up. Also , frenzel could be a sophomore, not that he was held back for any reason but alot of kids with his birthday are sophomore, elgie couldn't be a jr if he wanted to with an October birthday

i wanted to quote it and forgot so here is another post lol

true, elgie is only a sophomore, and it dosent really matter how old he is, because hes going to be top5 player in north dakota for at least the next 3 years

no disrespect, but i dont think we should enter hausauer or schlosser into the equation yet. Hausauer had a real tough time in the postseason last year, and Schlosser has played what, 4 varsity games? a little too early to tell with him i think. He has a lot of talent, but he'll need to make some adjustments with his stance and swing, varsity ball is a lot different than 15 year old babe ruth ball

the reason i brought hausauer into it is because he started as a soph on a team that took 2ed at state last year givin i dont know a lot about minot and their underclassmen other than elgie and scholsh for the fact of his so darn near perfect game those are the only 2 reasons

Haus we played belcourt, anyone that can throw consistent strikes has a no hitter in the bag. But credit the female on that team, she hit the hardest out of them all, lol.

Pletan is a good athlete, but isn't anywhere close to Elgie or Wentz.

Moch plays second base, at least that's where he played against Bismarck.

Moch played short 2 years ago and is playing second now.  And Pletan may not rank in baseball as well as Elgie or Wentz, but he is definetly in the same category as them when it comes to athleticism.

he also returns punts in football and is a linebacker.  not many linebackers return punts. i saw him this year get a hold of one against minot and if the wind wouldnt have been 30 mph he would jacked it out. amazing strength.  zac elgie also came up to the plate and ended the game with a 2 rbi triple. elgies in a different category than anyone else, qb, kicker, punter, start basketball as sophomore

Frenzel has a summer birthday, I believe in June or so, but even if their alot of kids in the sophomore or freshman class with those birthdays. He would be up their if he was a sophomore, but most athletic freshman in the state.

Realistically you can't even compare him to Elgie or Wentz.  Sure he may be a good athlete, but by no means has he put up the numbers as each of these studs has.  I know you are just giving your Mandan boy some love, but honestly can you say you put his name with Elgie or Wentz.  I'm not hating on the kid, but there is no way I would even think of mentioning his name with Elgie or Wentz.

i agree 100%...YO MANDAN50, IF ALL YOUR MANDAN BOYS ARE SO AMAZING LIKE YOU SAY THEY ARE, HOW COME THEY ARE LAST EVERY YEAR IN EVERY BOYS SPORT?????????  enough with the praise for them all, they are decent players, nothing special
