most feared hitter/pitcher in the state?

Postby i_see_it_all » Mon Jul 02, 2007 7:46 pm

Who is the kid who makes you hold your breath every time he's at the dish? the kid who nobody wants to face regardless of the situation......who is he? is there one? yes, no, im interested.

who is the pitcher who can take over a game by himself, the kid who can come in the 9th and put the game away with ease.  is there one this year? i'd like to hear it

Egie is by far the most feared hitter.  He is crushing the ball with like 19-20 bombs.

i think im gonna have to go with leer as the most feared hitter. he is so poised. he has great power to the gaps and can also drive the ball out of the park at any given time

I agree with UND. Elgie has 20 bombs already this season.

elgie is hitting so well right now id say that he is the most feared hitter but leer and liffrig are basically a given to be feared

as for pitchers wentz has been throwing very good and it seems like hes throwing harder each outing

Not impressed, I think Leer and Liffrig could have a bad game and I'd still be impressed.
It's a round ball and a round bat, and you got to hit it square.

what pitchers does elgie face when he hits all these bombs..? if its in league games id be really impressed but if its against sweet teams who only throw cockshots then id say its not so impressive

20+ HR's in a season is amazing regardless....its not like minot plays scrub teams all the time.  Yea sure you have games against bad teams, but they play in some good tournaments and play 20 games in the WDA.....hes just in the zone right now, it happens.

Elgie dropped 3 Bombs in the Regional tournament after he dropped 2 at state. the tournament was held in the Metrodome. You don't think those are good teams/pitchers? The kid can flat out hit.
