ok...me and some co-workers were discussing the past gatorade player of the year awards and having much debate...who are they in the past 10 years, can anyone name all 10?
98- kevin benson
99-??
00- aaron marsden? or was it luke teagle from minot?
01- phil shirek, someone thought it was mike klug but im almost positive it was phil.
02- tyler frenzel
03- ? no idea? someone thought this was a default year since nobody was any good.
04- charlie shirek
05- i think it was kyle carr??

03 Nobody was any good? Uhm Bo Stanley won it. 03 had a lot of talent. Rob Bird Horse, Chris Gulsvig, Sean Cooley, Reid Arnold, Casey Deutsch, Nevin Sorenson, and others.

no it wasn't mickelson...but boy was he a heck of a player, very fast!
baseballfan, yea those guys are decent players but i thought nobody really stood out like the previous years....sorenson was underrated though, he was a good centerfielder that hit pretty well. i wouldve given it to him:D

its been clarified phil was indeed 01 and marsden was 00...who won it this year? who will win it the next few years?

i believe 99' was josh mcmenamy from thompson, i'd be willing to bet on it.;)
teagle was class A player of year
the only one i couldnt think of was 03, but baseballfan is the man and stumped the schwab
