Mandan 2 St Marys 4
W: Loomis
L  : Borr

In the first game Mandan had 6 hits 1 error and St Marys had 4 hits no errors

2nd game

St Marys 15   Mandan 0....3 innings

St marys no errors.....Mandan 1 error

St Marys had 4 hits but coasted along with around 12 mandan walks and a couple beans, Mandan i think had one hit
I believe Mandan thru around 90-100 pitches in the 2nd game first inning(thats when St Marys scored all of their runs,it was ugly) 3 different pitchers in the first inning

I would like to add that i was impressed with St Marys discipline tonight at the plate, they swung at very few bad pitches, I cant even remember how many 3-2 full counts that were like 8 or 9 pitch at bats, quite a few of em

Walks, errors prove costly for Blue Jays
David Selvig
The Jamestown Sun - 04/25/2007

The Jamestown Sun
Walks and errors are always a tough combination to overcome.
Jamestown High School outhit Bismarck 20-11 Tuesday night at Jack Brown Stadium, but the Demons left town with a West Region sweep.
The Blue Jays swung the bats well, but committed nine errors in the doubleheader. Walks also proved costly in the second game as the Demons squeaked out the sweep, winning 9-2 and 6-5.
“We did some things well, but we also made too many mistakes,â€Â

Midgets rally in sixth
Chris Aarhus
The Dickinson Press - 04/28/2007

Facing crunch time, Dickinson got a big-time hit from its big-time player.
The Midgets trailed Minot 4-3 with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning when sophomore Cole Frenzel drilled a bases-clearing double down the first-base line to help Dickinson clinch a thrilling 6-4 West Region victory over the Magicians in a baseball doubleheader Friday at Southside Municipal Ballpark.
According to Dickinson coach Pete Dobitz, it has been a long time since the Midgets have beaten Minot in conference play.
“Even when we were state champs in 2004, they got us hard,â€Â
